The beginning, and the end…

Wren Scout is a quiet guy.

Raised in the Midwest, he grew up in a household constantly filled with turmoil. Always a loner and an outcast, Wren has a hard time making friends.

After enrolling in his high school’s auto shop class, he feels like he’s finally found where he belongs.

And when he falls in love with Sandy, Wren’s sure that they’ll be together forever.

But the Vietnam War changes everything. 

He returns home from deployment to find Sandy gone and married to another man. 

Dealing with his own demons and giving up on love, Wren shelves his broken heart and devotes himself to running his business.

Until years later when Sandy unexpectedly comes back to town.

Not the same girl he fell for as a teenager, Sandy has endured a hard life since she left. But Wren can’t ignore the familiar feelings that start to take over his head, and his heart, whenever she’s near. 

Can they overcome the wrongs of their past and finally get the happily ever after they always hoped for?
